For those here today: Pick up 1930's Interactive NB materials
and the FDR "Nothing to Fear" speech.

We will watch a decade video (Not the ABC Century...you do that at home, along with Crash Course on The Great Depression and New Deal.

Ch. 16 Fast Track Quiz first thing Monday...then...class discussion

For Monday: Be ready to discuss the following prompts: You will come to class prepared with an outline...and citing sources (like in one pager) to support your claim.

A.What are the causes of the Great Depression? Was traditional, conservative government policies to blame? If so, why. If not, why not???

B. Support of refute this statement

"A key feature of the New Deal was that it gave too much authority to the federal government and specifically the executive branch."

C. To what extent is it correct that the New Deal was a conservative effort to maintain the social, economic, and political status quo?

Have all reading over Great Depression and New Deal completed when you walk into classroom Monday.  For you who will exceed my expectations: Crash Course and ABC Century: Boom to Bust and Stormy Weather is necessary if you wish any "history to stick".
