Today we did a Gray Area thesis on the LEQ posted on today's blog. If you were gone...please do it at home and turn it in tomorrow at start of class.

We lectured on "Manifest Destiny and Mexican War...to Compromise of 1850"...Check Pagaent chapters noted today...We will continue to lecture into the Radical events of the 1850's.  We will "bail" on Pinky Compromising...and work to the eve of the Civil War.

Portfolio's are due Friday.  For the "Primary Sources/Documents"...besides printing them out, and highlighting and drawing symbols in the margins...please do the following "AP exercises" for each...
                          1. Author's Point of View
                          2. Origin and Purpose of the Document
                          3. Intended Audience
                          4. Historical Context
You might want to "exceed expectations" here...be specific in your analysis.
