Antebellum Period Portfolio (100 Points)
Objective: To utilize the sources and tone in on the AP skills while we pinky compromise in class.  You can select any topic, essay, video, document you choose, as you find it most interesting. THIS WILL BE DONE OUTSIDE THE CLASSROOM AFTER THE FIRST TWO DAYS HERE... AP expectations=exceed expectations...how do each of these relate to the "isms", "causes", and the "pile of leaves!" 

WE  START PINKY COMPROMISE #5 Monday...We will have class notes-interactive NB materials/Pageant materials...on top of this "portfolio."  Not too hard...but a huge "pile"...of "inflammable material"...I say "inflammable"...you say/do what????????????????????????????????????????????????

DUE: December 12

1. Select one article in "After The Fact" and complete the article summary sheet. (20 Points)
2. Select one Essay (from each Era...2 total) from Gilder-Lehrman...print it out, and complete article summary sheet. (10 Points each= 20 Points)

3. Select one "video" from each Gilder Lerhman Era...and complete the video summary sheet (2 total).  (10 Pts. each...20 Points)

4. Select one Primary Source from Each Era (2 total = 5 pts each...10 Points) Print it out...highlight and draw illustrations in the margins for the main ideas (just like Crashcourse).
5. Create a One-Pager...Antebellum Period 1800-1860) (30 Points...see rubric)
