HAPPY THURSDAY...HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE DONE WHEN YOU WALK INTO THE CLASSROOM ON MONDAY, OCTOBER, 13:

1. Read Pagaent, Ch. 7 "The Road to Revolution", pp. 122-128. (stop at bottom left..."to be fired at his troops." Read it carefully.

2. Read Digital History Ch. 7: "The Stamp Act and Virtual Representation." Read and highlight carefully.  Answer Student Exercises 1-4 thoroughly and with "AP Expectations" in your Interactive Spiral NB's. 

3. Read and Complete the "Personal Pinky Preparation Sheet." Parts A & B: Let me clarify this...read the back of the sheet that I handed out in class today..."Crisis #1: The Stamp Act Crisis." Read the synopsis as well as the "Starting Positions" of both sides...as well as the "Key Questions" to consider.  When you are done...complete the Preparation sheet...summarize in your own words the "crisis"...MCB... and then draw and color a motto and symbol that indentifies the "position" of each side.  

ON MONDAY: Armstrong will randomly put you on a "Colonist Team" or a "British Team"...you will commence immediately to organize and strategize on a debate with each other... better KNOW YOUR COWBELL!!!!King George(Armstrong) III (a tyrant in most colonists eyes)could be collecting NB's and/or Pinky Compromise Sheets...HERE..HERE...HERE...GET READY FOR SOME TAR AND FEATHERING!!!!!

4. Look at the Gilder-Lehrman Period 3 video, and specifically the Timeline videos and documents that lead up and include the Stamp Act Crisis...stop in 1765!!!!

KEEP YOUR EYES ON POWER SCHOOL AS I AM ABOUT TO ENTER SCORES FOR TAKEHOME ESSAYS AND THE COLONIAL PERIOD QUIZZAM!

IF I SEE YOU TOMORROW DURING "CATCH-UP" DAY...YOU COULD WORK ON THIS STUFF??????
