Good Monday...A ton of you were gone today...and will be gone tomorrow too! Oh well?  Here is the Takehome OUTLINE Assigned today.  It is to be typed and ready on Wednesday....No exceptions.

Prompt:

"To what extent and in what ways did the Progressive Era (1900-1920) address and solve the problems of 1900?"

Directions:

1. Write a Gray Area Thesis that answers the prompt.  YOU ARE EXPECTED TO DO MORE THAN SIMPLY RESTATE THE QUESTION.  BETTER THINK "CONTEXT" AND "PARTITIONS".

2. Your class came up with a list of 5 problems facing this country in 1900. Create an outline that proves your thesis.

Example:
Gray Area Thesis.

        A.Specific Examples (3 minimum) with a brief explanation.
