Good Tuesday! Tonight... In you notebooks...list and identify the 5 "schools of thought" on the American Revolution.  Title, Historian, and when (check in footnotes)...then summarize the "gist"/"main idea" of each.

DO EXERCISE #3 

3. Outline an argument using a single interpretation of the American Revolution and show how it can

account for three of the following:

a. the controversy over taxation and trade regulations

b. colonial violence and British response

c. the colonists' statements of their objections to England's policies

d. the fallacies of at least one of the other interpretations 

 in your notes as well...be ready to be called upon randomly!

We will watch Crash Course #7 in class tomorrow first thing (many of you did not watch it for homework!) and be ready to compare this video with this historiography!
